Obituary In “The Tinies” ; (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, April 24. An obituary in “The Times" on the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Gillespie) said: "His life was devoted to : farming and farming inter- : ests, and in Parliament his authority on all agriculture subjects was acknowledged. ■ As a parliamentarian he held strong opinions and ex- . pressed them firmly but with . courtesy, friendliness and . honesty."
