Field Trip.—An interesting field day was arranged by 22 members of the Tlnwald Young Farmers’ Club on Thursday, at the farm of Mr R. D. Robinson, of Te Plrita. When the farm Was bought four years ago it was covered tn manuka and tussock. Since Ulen 3000 acres have been developed into excellent pas--1 tures. Next year the remaining 400 acres of land i in natural condition will be developed. Talk On Works.—An interi esting and instructive talk on improvements carried out and plana for the future of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company’s Fairfield works, was given by the works’ manager (Mr K. C. Cooper) at the annual meeting of the Wakanui Federated Farmers.
