ALL BLACK GAME AT AUCKLAND

Selectors Announce Teams

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 6.

The New Zealand Rugby selectors have chosen the following team to represent the All Blacks in the practice match at Auckland on Saturday:— D. B. Clarke; J. R. Watt. R. F. McMullen, P. T. Walsh; W. N. Gray, R. H. Brown: A. R. Reid (captain); A. J. Soper; C. E. Meads, I. N. Mac Ewan, S. F. Hill, D. N. Mclntosh; W. J. Wbineray, R. C. Hemi, I. J. Clarke.

A former New Zealand Rugby League representative, J. D. Austin, of Takapuna, will be one of five Auckland players to appear in the match. The former All Blacks J. R. Skeen (Marist) and H. L. White (Northcote), the representative flanker D. J. Graham (University), and the young Waitemata Club full-back, K. Harre, are the other Auckland players who will appear. The composite team to play against the All Blacks will be:— K. Harre (Waitemata); M. J. Dixon, T. R. Lineen, J. D. Austin (Takapuna); H. J. Levien, W. R. Archer; B. P. Molloy; E. A. R. Pickering; W. D. Gillespie, P. S. Burke. J. R. Skeen (Marist), D. J. Graham -(University); F. S. McAtamney, D. Young, H. L. White (Northcote).

Mr W. A. Craddock, of Buller, co-manager of the AH Blacks, will arrive in Auckland on Thursday, and the tourists will assemble at the Station Hotel on the following day. The president of the New Zealand Rugby Union (Mr W. Birdsall, of Golden Bay- Motueka) will visit Auckland to say farewell to the team. Two of the New Zealand selectors, Mr J. L. Sullivan, of Taranaki, and Mr R. R. King, of the West Coast, will join their colleague, Mr R. A. Everest, of Waikato, who is the other co-manager of the touring team.

The only official entertainment to be provided for the All Blacks in Auckland is a farewell cocktail party at the Station Hotel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday. The team will leave by air for Sydney at 11.15 a.m. on Sunday.
