JORDAN’S ENVOY TO EGYPT

(Rec. 8 p.m.) DAMASCUS, May 6. The Cairo Radio said today that Mr Hassan Hashem, cousin of the Jordanian Prime Minister, Mr Ibrahim Hashem, had been appointed Jordanian Ambassador to Egypt. He succeeds Dr. Fawzi el Mulki, who was appointed Minister of Education and Public Works in Jordan’s short-lived Khaiidi Government which resigned on April 24 after nine days in office.
