Auckland Pair Wins
B. C. Bell and J. Martin, of Auckland, won the New Zealand pairs contract bridge championship, played in Christchurch during the week-end. Runners-up were Mrs F. Moginie and M. E. Pipe, of Christchurch. The tournament was opened on Saturday by the Mayor (Mr R. M. Macfarlane, M.P.). Results:—
