DECISIVE SECOND AT RANDWICK

At Rand wick, three New Zealand horses were among the five runners in the 10-furlong City Tattersails Handicap, but only one reached a place. Llanisfair was favourite at 10 to 9, but ran a bad race for fourth. The well-named Lindbergh (by Trans-atlantic from Dare) won comfortablyy by two lengths from the New Zealander, Decisive, which was a head in front of Ruthless Don. The other New Zealand horse. Field Chief, was last. Result:— CITY TATTERSALLS HANDICAP, Of £AIOOO. One mile and a quarter. LINDBERGH by Trans-atlantic— Dare 8-3 .. R. Selkrig 1 Decisive 7-12 .. J. O’Sullivan 2 Ruthless Don 7-4 R. George 3 There were five starters. Two lengths; head. Time—2min 3 l-ssec. Betting: 4 to 1. 3 to 1, 9 to 1.
