At Rand wick, three New Zealand horses were among the five runners in the 10-furlong City Tattersails Handicap, but only one reached a place. Llanisfair was favourite at 10 to 9, but ran a bad race for fourth. The well-named Lindbergh (by Trans-atlantic from Dare) won comfortablyy by two lengths from the New Zealander, Decisive, which was a head in front of Ruthless Don. The other New Zealand horse. Field Chief, was last. Result:— CITY TATTERSALLS HANDICAP, Of £AIOOO. One mile and a quarter. LINDBERGH by Trans-atlantic— Dare 8-3 .. R. Selkrig 1 Decisive 7-12 .. J.
