£10 Fine For Late Scratching
Mr D. A. McLaughlin was fined £lO at Ashburton on Saturday for the late scratching of Yarrowonga for the Alford Steeplechase. The totalisator wag open when the horse was scratched, and the club paid three place dividends on the seven-horse field.
