King George VI Foundation.—
The King George VI Foundation should have completed its task, mainly philanthropic, for benefit of young and old people by early next year, according to the foundation’s annual report. The foundation was set up as part of a memorial to the King to disburse ' a total allocation of £1,586,000 on six schemes for youth leadership, training, national recreation centres, youth hostels, and old people’s clubs.— London, May 3.
