NORTH CANTERBURY ADVERTISEMENTS EYRE COUNTY COUNCIL CLOSURE OF ROAD TO ORDINARY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1949, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of permitting the Canterbury Car Club to conduct speed trials the Waimakariri Bridge-Benn etts Main Highway (Tram road) between the Two Chain road and Chapmans Boundary road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic on Saturday. May 4. 1957. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m Alternative routes are available along the Two Chain road. North Eyre road, and Chapmans Boundary road, or along the Two Chain road. Ohoka road, and Chapmans Boundary road. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure. F.
