CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW
Christchurch Growers Success
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 2. The Dunedin grower, C. W. Preen, was the most successful individual exhibitor at the South Island national chrysanthemurr show which opened in Dunedin today. Mr Preen won four of the six awards for champion blooms and was awarded a certificate of merit for a specimen of the pink deer rati ve variety Princess Anne, which featured 67 well-formed blooms on the one potted plant. He was also awarded the champion of champions for the large white exhibition bloom of Jessie Habgood. L. Clark (Christchurch) was warmly praised for his entry of 12 varieties which wor for him the Hilliker Cup. The champion vase exhibition single bloom was won by G. Jones (Christchurch).
