(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LANGLEY (Virginia), May 1. The two lead B-57 Canberra jet bombers of a 12-p|ane formation demonstrating for the Defence Secretary (Mr Charles Wilson), collided yesterday. One of them crashed, killing the navigator. The second plane, with six feet of its left wing sheared off. dropped crazily for 1000 feet, straightened out and made a safe landing. The pilot of the first plane parachuted to safety, while the navigator, the only other person aboard, went down with the plane which plunged into shallow water 300 yards from the edge of the Langley runway.
