League Club’s Test With Oxygen

(N.Z.. Press Association Copyright) PERTH, May 1. Jack Sheedy, captain and coach of the East Perth League Football Club, said today he was satisfied with the club’s experiment with oxygen to revive players after exertion. Sheedy said: "We have been using oxygen for two months and I am convinced it speeds up a player’s recovery after exertion. Many players have been exhausted at half-time in a match, but after a few whiffs of oxygen they relax and in five minutes are as fresh as they started.”
