Changes In Teams ■ (New Zealand Press Association) f WELLINGTON, May 2. S. F. Hill, who has had to withdraw from the All Black Rugby trials at Athletic Park on Saturday, has been replaced as lock in the Probables A team by W. M. Wooster (Poverty Bay), and the vacancy thus created in the Possibles B team will be filled by T. Oldfield (Wanganui). So far the selectors have done nothing to secure an additional reserve forward. The captains and vice-captains for the trial teams were announced as follows (captains named first):—Possibles. A. R. Reid (Waikato) and P. S. Burke (Taranaki): Probables. A. D. N. Mclntosh (Wellington) and W. R. Archer (Otago): Possibles B, J. B. S. Hutchinson (Wellington) and R Keepa (Bay of Plenty); Probables B. K. R. Davis (Auckland) and B. A. Manners (ManawatuT. Hill’s withdrawal because of an injured ankle does not mean that he is no longer available for the Australian tour. Mr J. L- Sullivan, convener of the national selection committee, said this afternoon that the touring team would not necessarily be confined to players who appear in the final trials. Other players on the injured list today were receiving treatment, and it was not known this afternoon whether they would be able to play on Saturday. They are: J. McCullough (Taranaki), injured muscle above the hip; T. J. S. Riley (Auckland) leg injury: and D. Green (East Coast), ankle injury. Another who may not play is W. S. S. Freebaim (Manawatu). who did not come to Wellington with the other North Island players.
