Country Parents
Sir, —May I use this column to seek the co-operation of country parents of intellectually handicapped children. The New Zealand Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Parents’ Association is seeking urgent information regarding the need for the
ment of full-time hostels for country children so that they can attend occupation centres. Would parents who have intellectually handicapped children under 16 years bf age, please communicate with the undersigned, stating whether they would use such a hostel if one were established in Canterbury.—Yours, etc., S.
