Traffic Control
Sir, —If “Motorist since 1926” regarded the stream of traffic coming from the Square, during his experience, as exceptionally heavy. I can only believe that most of his driving must have been done on lonely country roads I was an interested spectator on that occasion and I saw at least a dozen opportunities arise when even the most inexperienced driver with a little common sense would have proceeded. I commend the traffic officer for reprimanding this motorist who caused the hold-up, as in my opinion an over-cautious driver is equally as much a traffic hazard as the socalled reckless driver.—Yours. etC ‘’ CABBY. May 1, 1957.
