Labour Department Appointments

Mr A. J. Peterson, at present district officer for the Labour Department at Hastings, has been appointed assistant superintendent for the department in Christchurch. He will take up the post in two or three weeks. Mr R. H. Bell has been appointed chief clerk in the Christchurch office, where he will continue to supervise immigration matters.

Replacing Mr I. Montgomery, who is now senior inspector of factories at Auckland; Mr J. Harris is now supervising inspector of factories in Christchurch. Mr G. D. G. Jensen has been promoted to the post of senior inspectorin Christchurch. ,
