Changes At White City

.Specially written for “The Press" LONDON.

A number of very necessary changes are being made in the organisation of meetings at Britain’s most important athletic stadium—the White City, London. The number of officials will be cut by one-third to prevent scenes which so often occur at big meetings where large numbers of unnecessary officials detract from the athletic events. In addition efforts are being made to improve the presentation of the field events by means of commentaries and visual boards giving results as they are available.

Warming up will not be allowed in the stadium. Facilities will be provided for warming up at a nearby school.
