Afterthought
A well-known Christchurch golfer, L. Rhodes, was leaving the club-house at Waitikiri for a round recently when he paused and went back. He had decided to pay his premium in the club’s hole-ih-one insurance fund. Inevitably, he sank his tee shot during the subsequent round, at the seventh.
