Young Woman Found Dead
A young woman, who had just returned to New Zealand from Australia, was found dead in bed yesterday morning at the home of a relative in Christchurch. She was Donna Marie Benyon, aged 19, whose parents reside at 57 Scotia street, Wakatu, Nelson. An inquest was opened yesterday afternoon before the Coroner (Mr E. B. E. Taylor) and adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been given by the young woman’s father, Mr J. S. C. Benyon. Miss Benyon arrived from Sydney by plane on Monday and was met by her parents. She apparently was in good health. She visited a friend in Christchurch and returned early in the evening to the home of an aunt at 40 Hendon street, where she was staying. She was in good health and cheerful spirits.
