FILM TO PUBLICISE INDUSTRY
Production Being Made In N.Z. (2Vew Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 30. new Zealand manufacturing industries will be featured in a Government-subsidised doucmentary film now being made and which is scheduled for general release throughout the Dominion in the early spring. The Government, through the Department of Industries and Commerce, will meet two-thirds of the cost and the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation the balance. The film is to have a guaranteed theatre release throughout the Dominion and copies will be made for use in schodls, at industrial fairs, for loan to organisations, and for showing abroad. N.Z. Cattle for Britain Another shipment to England of New Zealand-bred Polled Hereford cattle is being made in the New Zealand Shipping Company’s Federal liner, Cambridge, which will said from Wellington today for London. The shipment comprises one bull and six heifers for delivery to Polled Hereford breeders at Berkhamsted, Herefordshire The bull, which was. bred by Messrs Tynan brothers, of Te Kuiti, was sired by the junior champion in the yearling bull class at the Te Kuiti show. Three of the heifers were bred by Messrs F. E. Humphreys and Son, Gisborne, and one by the Acton Stud. Gisborne. The other two were bred by Mr R. W. Cowan, of Otorohanga.—(P.A.)
