LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
1. Letters sent to the Editor for printing must be written in ink nn one side of the paper only, and writers must send in their names and aodresses in full, whether they wish these to be printed or not.
2 Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers. 3. The Editor cannot return or keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing, nor can he acknowledge unsuitable letters, although this will be done where it seems to be needful, or enter into any correspondence. 4. Letters must not be of more than 150 words in length.
Poppy Red.—Letters limited to 150 words. J. Hekkenberg.—You are welcome to use it as you please. Spectator.—Already favourably reviewed. Space forbids. Ypres.—New Zealand deaths on active service in the two world wars are: 1914-18, 18,317; 1939-45. 11,625. Old Coin.—lt would be more satisfactory to take the coin to the Canterbury Museum for identification. Muddlers.—Hardly relevant to the subject. Complaints of tardiness in filling teaching vacancies should be specific, not general. Telegraph.—The Deputy-Chief Postmaster will be glad to investigate your complaint if you will write to him giving specific details. C. McKay.—We have no space for a discission of minor details such as you mention. Why not make your suggestions to the R.S.A.? Interested.—Where shock is severe, even if unaccompanied by physical injury, the patient ir admitted to hospital and given appropriate treatment.
