(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) PRAGUE, April 25. The Czech football organisation has banned women from playing football because the game is not “healthy” for their sex. But it said women would be permitted to play football if the rules were modified.
Praising the ban, “Pravda,” the Communist Party newspaper, said that in capitalist countries women were even allowed to wrestle and box. “But this is only a desire for sensation, not real sports feeling. Such attractions have ,no place on our sports grounds,” it said.
