EXPORT MEAT SCHEDULE
Lamb Up Id Per Lb Lamb prices have been raised Id per lb in the latest export meat schedule', which will become effective on Monday. This increase—the fourth this month—raises prime, under 281 b lambs to 30d per lb. Hogget, wether, and ewe prices are unchanged. Lamb rejects have been increased id per lb, and shorn deductions have been increased id to Jd per lb of meat. Lamb prices are now s|d per lb above this year’s opening rates, and more than 5d above last year’s close. Last year the last alteration to the lamb schedule was made on March 26. Prices for stock delivered to the nearest Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago or Southland works are as follows, with the variation since the previous schedules:—
Lamb prices are subject to shorn deductions ranging from Id per lb of meat for pullings up to 3%1b to 5%d per lb for pullings up to lib.
