HARRIERS’ VISIT TO AUSTRALIA

Alterations To Itinerary

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 26. The members of the New Zealand harrier team to visit Australia this winter will have their first competition there a little later than was expected. Commonwealth officials have revised the itinerary, which is almost certain to be approved by the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. The New Zealanders will have their opening run in the Australian championship at Brisbane on August 24. They are also scheduled to compete at Sydney on August 31 and at Melbourne on September 7. The New Zealanders will race 10 miles in Melbourne in the Victorian championship. It is likely that the New Zealand championship races will be held at Feilding on August 3 instead of on July 6 as was originally planned.
