Queen Sees Secret Radar Gear

(Tf.Z. Press Association Copyright) (Rec. 7 pm.) MALVERN. Apr. 25. Members of the Royal Household were not permitted to accompany the Queen and Prince Philip yesterday when they looked at top-secret radar equipment at the National Research Establishment at Malvern.

Strict security was maintained for their visit, during which the Queen and the Prince saw guided Weapon and airborne radar equipment demonstrated. To mark the occasion the Queen commanded that the Malvern centre should be renamed the Royal Radar Establishment.
