RAIL TIMETABLES CHANGED
Rangiora Service Ended Express goods trains with passenger accommodation will run from Christchurch to Picton Monday to Thursday inclusive when a new timetable comes into effect on Monday. Trains will leave Christchurch at 8.20 p.m. and arrive at Picton at 6.10 a.m. The train from Picton is scheduled to leave at 8.25 p.m. and arrive at Christchurch at 5.47 a.m. The Christchurch-Rangiora and Rangiora-Christchurch passenger trains leaving respectively at 12.10 p.m. and 1.12 p.m. will not run from Monday. _ Usual Wednesday and Friday services have been cancelled on the Oxford branch line from April 30. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the goods trains will leave Rangiora at 9.30 a.m. and Oxford West at 11.40 a.m.
