Both Jordanian and Iraqi government spokesmen yesterday denied Egyptian reports that Iraqi troops had entered Jordan. In a statement quoted by the Egyptian-sponsored Middle East News Agency last night, the “free officers” of the Jordan Army called on soldiers and civilians to “rise up in a struggle to show their anger and indignation.”
