Cup Race Won By Papiro

(New Zealand Press Association) WAIPUKURAU, April 22. The cup ’ace at the Waipukurau Jockey Club’s autumn meeting was won by the Otaki-trained Papiro by a length from Mama Mia. The double, Isaac Bian-Papiro. paid £8 12s for £l. In spite of showery weather there was a large attendance and the course was in good order. The totalisator handled £32,908, compared with £33,450 10s last year. A decrease of £542 10s. The investments on the doubles machine were £3597 10s, against £3511 last year.
