N.Z. WINS DAVIS CUP MATCH

BEIRUT, April 21. New Zealand will meet Britain in the second round of the European zone Davis Cup tie after beating Lebanon in the opening round.

Today, J. E. Robson and C. Parker beat Elie Attieh and Samir Khoury, 4-6, 11-9, 6-3, 6-3, to lead Lebanon by three matches to nil, with only two more singles matches to be played. The match against Britain will be at Eastbourne on May 16, 17, and 18.
