“Tide May Have

Turned ”

With the return last week of the price of New Zealand butter to 260 s per cwt and with firm sales of Danish butter, there have been suggestions that in spite of the heavy stock position, the “tide may have turned” and that prices may recently have been at their lowest. One theory is that the trend of prices may be slowly upwards in view of increased consumption and the approaching period of reduced imports from Australia and New Zealand. One report says many traders support this opinion.
