Cherry Trees From Japan.— The city of Miami, Florida, has received the unusual gift of approximately 300 Japanese cherry trees from a Tokyo industrialist. Mr Kiyoshi Ichimura. In announcing his gift Mr Ichimura said he was presenting the seedlings to the Florida city as “a unique token of appreciation and friendship to the American people.”—Washington.
