“The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON, April 21. The weather was mainly fine at Tauherenikau today, and a westerly breeze should have dried out the track. The going should be good for the second day of the Wairarapa Racing Club’s meeting tomorrow. Shaun did not have the best of luck in the running in the principal event on the first day, and he should be the improver engaged in the Easter Handicap, the first leg of the double. His strongest opposition may come from King’s Crest, Finito, and Mars. Nuffield should complete the double in the Tauherenikau Handicap for W. G. Hawthorne’s stable.
