North Canterbury Competitions The North Canterbury Band of Hope recently held its competitions in the Oxford Terrace Baptist School Hall. Prizes were presented by Mrs W. Under 10 years: Graeme Williams 1, Ronald Williams 2, Barbara Glen 3. Ten years and over, girls: Judith McMillan 1, Diana Lewis 2, Helen Dodge 3. Boys: lan Dodge 1, David Clarke 2. Temperance poster: Bryan Verey. Slogan; Glen Lewis 1, Diana Lewis 2, Patricia McMillan 3. Needlework: Patricia McMillan. Tapestry: Barbara Williams.
