“Brain-Washing”

Sir, —“A.M.” is truly unfortunate not to see that even if the “Reds” were guilty of only 25 per cent, of their crimes, or 95 per cent., they have had ample education from others. I have newspaper cuttings taken over only a few short months exposing grafts, rackets, and criminal trickery in the United States involving millions of men, women and children in degradation. That is the land where “truth” drugs have now become “tranquillisers;” truth machines are now “wave testers.” Historically speaking, we have Turks in Armenia, Belgians in the Congo; French in Devil’s Island, and their Foreign Legions; White armies in Russia, Japs in Manchuria—all of them good education for the “Reds.”—Yours, etc.,

COLONEL PRIGG. April 19, 1957.
