Heathcote School

Sir,—The spokesman for the Education Board is mistaken when he says that the Heathcote School was erected in 1864. We celebrated our eighty-sixth anniversary in 1946; and our centenary will be in 1960. Also, he says that the original was demolished in 1911. A new room was added in that year and later an old room was pulled down and a new one built. The main classroom of the original school is still in use.—Yours, etc.,

PUPIL OF 1911. April 17, 1957.
