STREET COLLECTIONS
Sir, —“Honor Bright’’ should understand that God never intended His people to have to beg for His gifts. Governments do not issue enough money for everything; and our past apd present governments have failed to do this. Money is man-made and should fit human needs. There are plenty of God’s gifts; it is man who is at fault with the money end. A new government would put the antiquated money system right. I would like to talk to “Honor Bright.’’ My address will be given by the editor. “Honor Bright’’ says she is proud to collect. Why not be proud of her name, not nom de plume? It is degrading for societies and people to have to accept charity. Let us make it unnecessary. It is just another form of taxation.—Yours, etc., A. I. LAMBTON. July 23, 1954.
