Part-time Public Relations
The Dunedin City Council proposes to appoint a public relations officer to assist the public to get information on civic activities. Cr. M. Connelly told the Otago Junior Chamber of Commerce this week that the officer would act in a part-time capacity as a council employee and also do public relations work. He would not supersede the chairmen of committees in making public statements.
