ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES
Sir, Answering “Parliamentary listener,” who accuses the member for Avon of being indiscreet in mentioning the alterations of electoral boundaries, I would like to say that the alterations are my pet subject at present Labour voters are jtfsf awakening to the realisation that their electorates have been cleverly altered so as to reduce the Labour vote. In the Hurunui electorate, Belfast, a workers’ stronghold, has been removed. In Selwyn electorate the Islington works go to another electorate. Mr Nordxneyer’s electorate of Brooklyn has entirely disappeared- These are just a few of the alterations. There is no doubt about the National Party’s vision.—Yours, etc., VOTER. July 6, 1954.
