RECENT TOUR BY N.Z. > TEAM
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 6. The overseas tour of the New Zealand table tennis team earlier this year was well worth while from all points of view, said the manager of the team (Mr H. N. Ballinger) in his report on the tour to the executive committee of. the New Zealand Table Tennis Association. Mr Ballinger considered the venture had placed New Zealand on the international table te “For the P game to progress in New Zealand, it is necessary that a team be sent overseas periodically, so that this country will receive international recognition and ranking, and the individual players will obtain experience against top-class opponents,” said Mr Ballinger.
