EDINBURGH FESTIVAL OPENED
LONDON. August 22. An impressive ceremony was held to-day in Edinburgh to mark the opening of the Scottish festival of music and arts, which will last three weeks. Famous musicians and singers from many countries will take part, and there will be performances by some of the world’s best exponents of opera, drama, and ballet.
