WOMEN’S DIVISION OF FARMERS’ UNION

Redcliffs.—Mrs Palmer presided at the I monthly meeting of the Redcliffs branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union. It was decided to send a donation to the headquarters building fund. Mrs Palmer was appointed delegate to the division conference, to be held in Wei-1 lington in July. The guest speaker. Mrs Moginie. gave an interesting talk on modern books. Miss Andrews 2, Mrs Taylor 3. Papanui-Waimairi.—Mrs S. F. Marshall I presided at the monthly meeting of the Papanui-Waimairi branch of the Women’s I Division of the Farmers’ Union. It was decided to give £5 to the headquarters building fund. Mrs Lund showed an interesting collection of thrift articles. Brisk business was done at the "bring and buy’’ stall.
