BREAD RATION IN BRITAIN
CABINET DECISION REPORTED (Rec. 1 a.m.) LONDON, June 27. The Cabinet after a two hours’ meeting decided that bread and flour rationing should be introduced. The Press Association understands the starting date will be July 21, when the new ration books come into operation. This news is still unofficial, and nothing will be known definitely until the Minister of Food (Mr John Strachey) makes a statement. He is expected to do this in tbe House of Commons in the next few hours. *
