Kaikoura Maternity Ward.—A decision to hold the official opening of the new maternity ward at Kaikoura on July 12 was reached by the North Canterbury Hospital Board on Wednesday.
Telegraphic Service With Calcutta. —The Chief Postmaster (Mr D. R. Thomson) advises that the telegraphic service with Calcutta and connecting offices is now normal.
