INVESTIGATION OF STAFF PROBLEM
» HOSPITAL COMMITTEE APPOINTED
The problem of staffing, both nursing and domestic, will'be Investigated by a special committee, according to a decision of the North Canterbury Hospital Board yesterday when a committee was appointed for the purpose. The chairman (Mr L. B. Evans) said that the results of advertising for staff had been virtually nil. The decision to set up a committee was reached after several members of the board had referred to the shortage throughout the country at young persons of the appropriate age groups.
