DEATH DUE TO DROWNING

A finding that Muriel Jessie Thiele, aged 38. met her death in May, from drowning, was returned by the Coroner (Mr H. P. La wry) at an inquest yesterday. Evidence was given by William Frank Coe that he had assisted the husband in a search, and that the body had been found in the Heathcote river. He considered that while cycling down a hill Mrs Thiele had been unable to stop the bicycle when the brakes failed to work, and that she bad crashed into the river. His evidence was confirmed by George Christopher Connelly, t police sergeant, who added that there were no marks of violence on the body. Inquest Adjourned The inquest into the death of Linda Alberta Alderson was adjourned until aeoet Tuesday pending further veidenceJ
