FALL FROM WINDOW MAN DIES OF INJURIES <P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 24. Harry Baistow, aged 41. a labourer, who was to have appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, fell from a third floor window of the Wellington Hospital, at 9 a.m., and died at midday. He had been in hospital since l2 for treatment of a wound in the throat, allegedly self-inflicted, after his arrest that day on a charge of theft of clothing valued at £1 13s. He was to be discharged from hospital this morning and was to appear on charges of theft and attempted suicide. FOOT SEVERED AT SAWMILL Raymond Seabourn, aged 16, the son of Mr and Mrs A. Seabourn, of Ross, had his right foot severed yesterday morning, when he fell under a locomotive at Stuart and Chapman’s sawmill at Ross, where he had been employed as locomotive boy for the last 12 months. The accident occurred when Seabourn was boarding the locomotive. After receiving first aid treatment he was removed to the Westland Hospital, Hokitika, where his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory.
