WAR DEVASTATED AREAS

UNO RECONSTRUCTION COMMISSION

LONDON, June 22. The Economic and Social Council of the United Nations has appointed a commission of 20 members, including Britain, America, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada, to investigate the war devastated areas and to recommend reconstruction measures by a United Nations commission, which is instructed to report by September 2. The commission will be divided into two groups, one to study Europe and Africa, and the other the Far Eastern areas.
