EXPLANATION BY N.Z. DIRECTOR
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 21. The managing director of Kerridge Theatres, Ltd. (Mr R. J. Kerridge), said the statement in the report of the formation of Mr Rank’s company referred to the Kerridge group of 113 theatres —not 116 as stated. The Rank group’s financial association with the Kerridge group was not a controlling interest, but was on a 50-50 basis.
