CONTROL OF FILM INTERESTS

NEW BRITISH COMPANY FORMED LONDON, June 21. Mr J. A. Rank has formed a £1,500,000 private company, Overseas Cinematograph Theatres, to take over Dominion and other cinema investments in the Rank group, including controlling interest, in 107 Canadian theatres, 116 New Zealand theatres, and one to be built in Cairo. The Rank group acquired most of these theatres during the last two years.
