COMMUNISTS IN AUSTRALIA
ATTITUDE OF LIBERAL LEADER * (Rec. 8 p.m.) MELBOURNE, June 20. The leader of the Liberal Party (Mr R. G. Menzies) said he would not ban Communists, but If he was returned to power he would pass a special Industrial Peace Act. Under this act men who incited industrial unrest or brought about unnecessary dislocation of industry could be punished. Mr Menzies said it would be found that the fomenters of unrest would most often be Communists, but it would be wrong in time ot peace to punish a man just because he was a Communist.
